Course Description

The Summer School aims to explore how food science impacts human health on a global scale. This includes the nutritional components of food, food safety, disease prevention and treatment, and the complex relationship between food and health. We will delve into the bioactive components in food, the impact of food processing on nutrition, and how food science innovations can promote health and prevent diseases. Additionally, we will focus on the relationship between food habits and health in different regions of the world, and how food science can be used to improve global health.
